John,

Today marks the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, a landmark decision by the Supreme Court that protected the right of women to have a safe and legal abortion. But today, that right is hanging by a thread.

With a conservative majority on the Supreme Court signaling they are ready to effectively gut Roe v. Wade, it falls to the states to become the last line of defense. That is why it is so crucial that we re-elect Governor Janet Mills, a champion and defender of reproductive rights.

If Paul LePage has his way, Maine could go the direction of other states and effectively gut reproductive rights.

Governor Mills has spent her time in office protecting and expanding the reproductive rights of Maine people, but, as we all know, one election can change the course of history in this state. If we don’t re-elect Governor Mills, Paul LePage will join his Republican colleagues in dismantling women’s rights.

Can you rush a $49 donation today to make sure that abortion is kept safe and legal in Maine?
