John,
Today marks 49 years since the Supreme Court ruled that women have a
constitutional right to access an abortion. But all these years later, a
woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions is at risk.
In light of the attacks on Roe v. Wade, the Senate needs to pass the
Women’s Healthcare Protection Act. I was proud to vote for its passage in
the House, but it’s stalled in the Senate. [ [link removed] ]If you’re with me, sign my

Passing this bill is critical—as we wait on the Supreme Court to hand down
rulings on the challenges to Roe v. Wade, Republican state legislatures
across the country are passing anti-choice laws. Already, twenty one
states have laws on the books that would more or less immediately ban
abortion if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
A threat to a woman’s bodily autonomy is a threat to her economic
security. When politicians prevent women from making our own health care
decisions, they are threatening our economic security.
It’s hard to believe that my daughter may not have the same constitutional
rights that my generation did.
I’ll always fight to protect a woman’s right to make her healthcare
decisions. [ [link removed] ]Join me in that fight.
