John,
Forty-nine years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled that people had the right to make their own reproductive health care decisions in the landmark Roe v. Wade decision.
Roe might be the law of the land, but that hasn't stopped Republicans from attacking access to reproductive care. Last year alone, 19 states introduced 106 abortion restrictions – the highest recorded since Roe was decided in 1973.
And to make matters worse, the Supreme Court will be making a decision this year on Mississippi's restrictive abortion ban which could decide the fate of Roe. With a 6-3 conservative majority on the Court, our reproductive rights are in clear danger.
We can't let this be the last anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Add your name to join Kim in recommitting to the fight to protect reproductive health care rights →
As the only pro-choice woman doctor in Congress, Kim is fighting back against any attacks on our reproductive care. She was proud to help pass the Women's Health Protection Act last year to block states from enacting medically unjustified barriers to accessing abortion care and she's endorsed by Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
Kim will always work to ensure personal reproductive decisions remain between a patient and their doctor only. But she needs to know you're with her in this important fight.
Will you add your name to stand with Kim in the fight to protect reproductive health care rights?
Thanks,
Team Schrier
To hold the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority in 2022?
