On this day, 49 years ago, the Supreme Court issued their decision in Roe v. Wade — the landmark case that finally gave women the right to get safe, legal abortions.

Now, 49 years later, we’re facing one of the greatest threats to reproductive freedom since abortion was legalized.

And I’ll tell you, John, I’m fed up.

This summer, the hyper-conservative Supreme Court is poised to overturn Roe and take away women’s right to do what we want with our own bodies. And once they do, 26 states will almost certainly ban abortion outright — bans that will disproportionately hurt Black and Brown women.

But still, members of the establishment refuse to do what it takes to protect women’s rights.

That’s why I need your help today. As your next Congresswoman, I’ll show up every single day and fight to protect women’s rights. But first, we need to take down the do-nothing establishment.

For hundreds of years, white men have held near-absolute power in this country. And, if we don’t do something about it, women’s basic rights won’t even make it to 50.
