John – did you see the headlines? Georgia’s Republican Governor (and noted gun enthusiast) Brian Kemp traveled to Las Vegas this week to rub elbows with the NRA gun lobby and gamble… with my constituents’ lives.

During another wave of this pandemic, it’s flat-out irresponsible for Governor Kemp to head to Vegas on a taxpayer-funded junket to promote his dangerous proposals that would loosen our gun safety laws here in Georgia.

This is what we’re up against here in 2022 as Georgia Democrats – the Republican-run state government is angling to relax gun safety rules, and we’ve got to fight tooth and nail to stop them. Can you pitch in a grassroots donation of $5 to help us fuel this fight? [[link removed]]

We've faced off with the gun lobby and far-right Republican leaders (like Gov. Kemp) on gun safety laws in Congress and all around the country several times — and the fact that the NRA declared bankruptcy last year was a sign that we were winning this fight.

But our fight to end gun violence is far from over.

The NRA is making a huge comeback in 2022, and is pushing this “permitless carry” proposal in states around the country right now – including here in Georgia. We’ve got to make sure we do everything in our power to stop it. Lives are literally on the line.
