There are a lot of distractions in life, but when it comes down to it, nothing matters as much as our families and our kids.

As a mother and grandmother, I understand firsthand the responsibilities and joys of parenthood. I know that life is a gift from God, and I proudly stand for the dignity of human life at every stage.

Yesterday, at the National March for Life in Washington, D.C., pro-life advocates shared this important message in our nation's capital. Today, hardy Minnesotans will brave single digit temperatures to share the same important message in our state capital, Saint Paul.

Every year, activists from all over the country gather on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade to help educate lawmakers on the beauty and dignity of human life.

For all of the pro-life marchers from coast to coast, I’m proud to stand by their tremendous efforts. I will always defend life, mothers, and unborn babies – and fight for policies that protect the most innocent among us.
