Today is the 49th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision. In the face of continued attacks, I will never back down in the fight to defend reproductive rights.
Last year, I called on the legislature to repeal a 1931 Michigan law still on the books that criminalizes abortion, and I’m doing everything in my power to defend the constitutional right to choose.
But my extremist opponents are doubling down on their anti-choice campaign promises like pledging to uphold Michigan’s archaic abortion ban should Roe v. Wade be overturned – touted by anti-choice extremists as one of the most restrictive anti-choice laws in America.
