John, here are a few key updates for you:
• Early voting is just 23 days away.
• Henry Cuellar now has $2.3 million cash on hand to get re-elected.
• He also just received $500,000 in help on TV.
• So to compete with Cuellar’s massive fundraising haul, we’re ramping up our field operations in every corner of our district to spread the word about our movement to bring bold, progressive change to South Texas.
How are we doing this? By putting up road signs from Laredo to San Antonio!
Each road sign costs $55. So we need to raise $5,000 by the end of the weekend to get them up ASAP before early voting starts.
If you’re able to spare anything, can you please help us fund the cost of our road signs to get Jessica elected? Every dollar we raise will help us spread the word and grow our movement to bring progressive change to South Texas.

Our campaign is powered by grassroots donors — regular folks chipping in what they can, and when they can — unlike Henry Cuellar who depends on corporate PACs and special interests to fund his campaign.
In fact, in the last election cycle, only about 1% of Cuellar’s campaign contributions came from small-dollar donors. You read that right — only 1%!
It’s clear that Henry Cuellar has a lot of big, powerful, wealthy interests in his corner. But we have something better: we have you. We have the people.
We know that our people-powered campaign can overcome Cuellar’s corporate donors. In the last election, we fell just 2,746 votes short of winning — and that was after being outspent by $700,000.
We can make up that difference and more this election. And the more we close the fundraising gap with Henry Cuellar, the wider our path to victory will be.
We’re building our power directly from the people — because in Congress, Jessica Cisneros will work for the people. Not corporate PACs. If you can, will you please make a gift today to help us ramp up our field operation?
