John, on this day in 1973, the Supreme Court issued its ruling in Roe v. Wade – enshrining the constitutional right to access abortion. But nearly 50 years later, the fight is far from over.
The GOP is waging an all-out war on reproductive freedom.
Nearly 30 Republican-led states, including Arizona, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi, are pushing extreme near-total ban abortion bills that significantly limit access. That means if the conservative Supreme Court were to overturn Roe v. Wade, abortion access as we know it would be gone.
We need to take action. And we better act fast if we want to stop other Republican-controlled states from doing the same. It’s time to rise up and fight back.
