In a few weeks, world leaders will gather to discuss the response to the pandemic at a global vaccine summit. Omicron should be a wake up call for leaders that what we're doing isn't working. Two years into this pandemic and only 5% of people in low income countries are fully vaccinated due to rich countries hoarding doses, refusing to share the recipes to increase supply, and prioritising boosters over universal vaccination.

Every day that passes, more families lose loved ones, more children lose out on education, and the world's economy gets further away from recovering.

Across the globe, we've had enough of the endless cycle of variants, restrictions, and disruptions. We want our lives back.

We believe our leaders have a responsibility to ensure that every country has the tools to fight the virus and end this pandemic, everywhere. But right now, billions of people in low income countries are being left behind and the health workforce is under severe strain.
