Tell Congress: We need a Fair Share Tax System. We need the Millionaires Surtax!

John,

Donald Trump and congressional Republicans have tried time and again to sell their tax scam to the American people. But the reality is―by a large margin―voters want a Fair Share Tax System that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.

Now, Senators Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and Representative Don Beyer (D-VA) have introduced the Millionaires Surtax, which polling shows has the support of 73% of voters and over half of Republicans.

Become a co-signer of the Millionaires Surtax today to tell Congress to place an additional 10% tax on the incomes of the richest 0.2% of U.S. households so we can begin to create an economy that works for all of us.

Read Frank’s email below to learn more about this new legislation that will allow us to invest in critical services for working families.

Thank you,

John,

What bill in Congress has the support of 73% of voters and over half of Republicans?[1]

Answer: The Millionaires Surtax

This bill would place an additional 10-percentage point tax on the high incomes of the richest 0.2% of Americans, helping to close the gap between the rich and everyone else and allowing us to fund new investments that benefit working families.

Introduced today by Senators Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH) and by Representative Don Beyer (D-VA), the Millionaires Surtax would place an additional 10-percentage point tax on all income above $2 million each year for married couples and above $1 million for individuals.
