Feds issue subpoenas seeking records related to Rep. Cuellar and his wife, associates

News just broke that a federal grand jury probe has begun issuing subpoenas and seeking records from Congressman Henry Cuellar and his family looking into whether or not Cuellar or his family provided any "work, act, favor, or service" at the behest of foreign companies, government officials, or business leaders.

As more news about the FBI investigation trickles out, Cuellar’s campaign is going on offense. They placed their first TV ad buys today. And with $2.3 million to spend — he has a lot of resources to keep an ailing campaign afloat.

John, Jessica’s chances of winning have never been better. But the biggest obstacle to victory is the fact that we are being massively outraised and outspent by Cuellar and his corporate funders. That’s why we’re emailing late on a Friday night about this news… because we desperately need your help to close the gap.
