Hey folks, John here! I wanted to reach out for the first time this year as Michael’s team ramps up their work ahead of the election.

You may not know this, but Michael Bennet is truly one of my best friends. He helped me during my successful run for mayor of Denver and then served as my chief of staff.

Anyone who knows Michael knows that it’s impossible to overstate his love for our state or his determination to make a difference in the lives of Colorado families. I’ve watched him fight to protect the public lands we love so much. I’ve seen firsthand how his experience in education helps him better serve our kids.

And over the last few years, I’ve watched Michael fight to address our nation’s greatest challenges — from combating climate change, to fighting child poverty, to ensuring working families and small businesses have the support they need throughout the pandemic.

We need to keep Michael in the Senate, but I won’t sugarcoat it — he’s got a tough re-election battle ahead. Mitch McConnell will do (and spend) whatever it takes to defeat Michael and reclaim the Senate majority this year.

In 2020, Michael and this incredible grassroots team helped me win our competitive race to flip Colorado’s second Senate seat blue. Now, it’s my turn to help him protect his seat, and the entire Democratic majority with it. That’s why I’m personally asking:
