On Wednesday, Kevin McCarthy raked in a whopping $9.5 million at a $100,000-a-ticket fundraiser at the Trump Hotel in Washington.

That’s right, the same guy who once sorted out Donald Trump’s Starbursts for him raised almost $10 million from over 50 corporate PACs in just a few hours in his effort to flip the House and become the next Speaker.

As one of the NRCC’s top targets, we're sure McCarthy will do (and spend!) whatever it takes to try and defeat Lauren this year — and the right-wing attack ads have already started.
