Hello,
Last week, after President Biden delivered a powerful speech on the need for voting rights reform, I emailed you to express my support for this crucial issue. I also passed along some of the lines from the address I found most meaningful, including “Do you want to be on the side of Abraham Lincoln or Jefferson Davis?”
My Republican opponents didn’t like that. That’s right: they are upset that I am committed to ensuring the right to vote for every American. Check out what they’re saying to their supporters:
“Our congresswoman from PA-07 is fundraising off Biden’s message, calling it “a powerful speech” and repeating its most offensive lines in an email to supporters.”
“It could not be more clear that we need a new Congresswoman to represent Pennsylvania, one who will fight against Joe Biden’s agenda.”
If they’re waiting for me to stop fighting for fundamental civil rights, they’ll be waiting a long time. But here’s the thing: these Republicans and their deep-pocketed donors will do anything to stop me from fighting.
