John,

To make sure we not only recover from COVID-19 but come back stronger than ever before, we need to invest in the people who make our economy work in the first place.

That’s why, as part of our Budget to Move Minnesota Forward, Lt. Governor Flanagan and I are fighting to deliver $700 million in direct payments to Minnesotans.

Our plan to expand economic opportunity across the state puts people first by giving money back to the middle class, small businesses, and those most affected by the unprecedented challenges of the past two years. The frontline workers who carried us can expect to receive hero checks of about $1,500.

As we call on the legislature to pass this budget as quickly as possible, MN GOP leaders are already signaling their intent to stand in our way.

John, if you believe, as I do, that the people of Minnesota are our state’s greatest resource, I’m asking you to stand with us today.

The 2022 legislative session starts in just over one week. If you’re able, pitch in $10, $25, $50, or whatever works today to help us keep the pressure on to pass our Budget to Move Minnesota Forward.

I’m grateful,

Tim Walz
