Dear John,
“It is very cold in winter; that’s why I’m scared”, says Nagham, a 9-year-old girl who fled Syria in 2013.
The ongoing winter season means additional hardship and fear for refugee children, especially those belonging to families living below the poverty line. Unfortunately, that applies to sweet Nagham who spends the cold days in an overcrowded apartment near her 75-year-old grandfather Ezz El Deen.
Help Refugee Families Stay Warm: [link removed]
“Of course my dear, you are the world to me”, Ezz El Deen answered his granddaughter when she asked him “Grandpa do you love me?”. A few words that were obviously enough to warm her heart and draw a proud smile on her face.
Today, we call out on everyone who can offer a helping hand to send out love and warmth to refugee families like theirs. The past few days have been very cold with heavy rain and snow in the mountains, making it more and more difficult to keep warm and safe. Please ([link removed])give now to help Nagham([link removed]) and thousands of vulnerable families withstand harsh, cold conditions this winter.
Thank you,
Breno Valentini
