John, have you been keeping up with our emails this past week? If not, here’s the rundown on what’s been happening:

1. The FBI raided the home and campaign office of Rep. Henry Cuellar where members of the Evidence Response Team carried out trash bags full of items from his home.

2. It was finally revealed that the investigation is related to ties between U.S. businessmen and Azerbaijan.

3. Reports exposed that Cuellar’s longtime aide teamed up with anti-choice zealots to launch a dark money group last September that is spending big in the race and likely breaking the law.

4. And now, Cuellar just placed a new ad TV buy that’s set to launch TOMORROW to attack our campaign to elect Jessica to Congress.  

Now that Henry Cuellar is in hot water, he’s going all-in to save his re-election campaign before early voting starts in 24 days. So please, will you help us counteract this ad buy by contributing $5 today? We need to be able to get our message out as much as Henry Cuellar and his allies are getting theirs out.

Henry Cuellar has spent the last 16 years in Congress blocking key Democratic priorities. Before we announced our first campaign, he was voting with Trump nearly 70% of the time. And that’s why corporate-backed PACs and outside spending groups love him, because he consistently votes in their best interests.

South Texans are tired of Cuellar’s refusal to do what’s right and are hungry for a change. But with enough money spent on misleading ads, Cuellar’s allies are hoping to obfuscate just enough of his record to get him re-elected.

We can’t let ourselves get outspent again. This time, we won’t, because we have a lot more grassroots fundraising support (if people like you chip in).
