- Former Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will talk about The Future of Education at 6:30 p.m. CT on Jan. 26.
- Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall, Big Thought CEO Byron Sanders, and Bush Institute-SMU Economic Growth Initiative Director Cullum Clark will lead one of two panel discussions on The Continual Struggle: Reflections on the Civil Rights Movement at 6:30 p.m. CT on Feb. 15. The event will complement the Bush Center’s special exhibit, The Continual Struggle, which showcases the work of artist Brian Washington.
- Karen Hughes, a longtime advisor to President Bush; Landon Parvin, speechwriter for several White House Correspondents’ Association dinners; and David Litt, a bestselling author and former Funny or Die producer, will host Liberty & Laughter: The Lighter Side of the White House at 6:30 p.m. CT on March 8.
- The annual Laura Bush Book Club features acclaimed children’s book author Roda Ahmed at 3 p.m. CT on May 15.
