Kim Schrier

John,

Twelve years ago today, the Supreme Court made the disastrous Citizens United decision which unjustly ruled that corporations and foreign governments are people. Since then, our democracy has been left vulnerable to the influence of dark money.

The ruling in Citizens United has had profound impacts on our government. Instead of reflecting the needs and interests of the people they represent, D.C. is now filled with too many politicians beholden to interests like the gun lobby, the fossil fuel industry, and big pharma.

Kim has always refused to accept any corporate PAC money because she wants her constituents to know she's working for them – not special interests. One of the first bills she helped pass in the House was the For the People Act, a sweeping anti-corruption bill to reform our elections, disclose funding sources, and return our democracy to the people.

But dark money has already begun flooding the 8th District with false attack ads against Kim. Outside groups are ready to spend whatever it takes to defeat Kim and replace her with someone beholden to corporate interests. We need your help to take them on.

Will you rush a donation of $5 or more right away to help Kim take on the dark money groups so she can protect her seat and the Democratic House majority?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Thanks,

Team Schrier

To hold the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority in 2022?
