SB165/HB294, sponsored by Senator Carter and Delegate Crutchfield, would bring Maryland in line with 26 other states and end the practice of automatically charging kids in adult court. Kids will still be held accountable for their actions and their cases can still be brought to adult court. Read more about it here.
