Here's what you need to know about tactical voting

There's four weeks left of this election. Four weeks to put a stop to Boris Johnson's claim that Brexit is the will of the people. Four weeks to make sure pro-Europeans everywhere and in all parties are working together.

This election is going to see some unexpected and strange results. Usually only a handful of constituencies change hands - this time it's could be hundreds. And we know if just 30% of remain voters us their vote tactically, we can stop a Tory majority.

That's why I need you to help spread the word about GetVoting.org. We need everyone to know it's where to go to find out how to vote to stop Brexit.

Best for Britain's tactical voting recommendations on GetVoting.org are based on the most accurate and up-to-date data available.

Our MRP polling analysis was undertaken in October with a statistically enormous sample size of 46,000 voters, unlike normal national polls which contact less than 2,000 people.

Our analysis includes the 2017 election results, but public opinion has moved on. 2017 is ancient history!

In each seat we look at our MRP data and consider that alongside the local political situation, candidates' records, the possibility of Brexit Party/Conservative cooperation and whether there are any trends in our MRP data over the past several months.

We'll be updating our recommendations throughout the campaign. And we'll be re-running our MRP polling to make sure our recommendations reflect how voters are responding to parties' campaigns.
