The 49th Anniversary of Roe v. Wade is on Saturday, January 22nd. It’s been almost 50 years since the Supreme Court recognized Americans’ right to choose. This landmark case paved the way for life-saving healthcare and the freedom for countless women to make their own decisions about their bodies.

But the reality is, reproductive rights are under serious threat.

In 2021, states across the U.S. made history by enacting over 100 abortion restrictions - the most in a single year since Roe v. Wade. It is anticipated that if Roe v. Wade is overturned up to 28 states will immediately ban abortion access. The hard-won right to choose is at stake, and it’s more important than ever to elect women and candidates who will fight for reproductive justice at every level of government.
