Let us remind you of the history of the filibuster.
Just two days ago, the John Lewis Voting Rights Act was defeated in the U.S. Senate by a vote of 49-51. This critical voting rights legislation was killed in defense of the filibuster.
Let us remind you of the history of the filibuster. It was created by John C. Calhoun, a father of the Confederacy, to do exactly as it’s doing now: blocking legislation that grants Americans their unequivocal human rights.
Ro has helped lead the fight against the filibuster so we can finally pass much needed voting rights legislation and the Build Back Better agenda. But our campaign needs support from grassroots donors (like you!) to keep up the momentum.
Can you please make a donation of any amount towards Ro’s re-election campaign today?

The disregard for one of our most sacred American rights – voting access – is disgraceful. This isn’t about partisanship. This is about half of the U.S. Senate openly subverting the cornerstones of our democracy while defending a historically racist and archaic Senate rule.
Legislation that is supported by the majority of Americans should not be stalled in the Senate by the very people who are supposed to be representing the views of their constituents. This is one reason why, from the very beginning, Ro has refused to accept any PAC money, so he can stay 100% accountable to the people.
Please chip in if you support our people-powered campaign, so Ro can continue to represent the people and not special interests in Congress.
Thanks for your support,
