Yesterday the news broke that Henry Cuellar is under investigation by the FBI and Department of Justice’s Public Interest division.
And since then, we haven’t heard much from him.
But today, he made time to receive an award from the anti-choice movement and speak to the nation’s largest anti-choice rally on the evening of a SCOTUS decision that could end abortion rights.
Cuellar’s anti-choice platform is dangerous and South Texans deserve far better than this betrayal of their constitutional rights. If you agree, please chip in $5 to replace him with pro-choice Democrat Jessica Cisneros.

It’s no longer a secret on where Henry Cuellar stands on the right to choose.
After Texas’ Republican leaders passed S.B.8 — our Congressman refused to defend us and our reproductive rights. In fact, he doubled down by voting “no” to pass the Women’s Health and Protection Act (WHPA), a bill that would codify Roe v. Wade into federal law.
But once Jessica is elected to Congress, she will work overtime to ensure abortion rights are fully protected. Because she understands that quality healthcare — including access to reproductive healthcare — is necessary to achieve justice and economic security for low-income Black and Latino people, who face more roadblocks in order to access contraception.
In the last election, anti-choice special interests like the Koch brothers’ empire and the banking industry’s major PACs, flooded into our race to defeat us. But now that we’re just 39 days from the TX-28 Democratic Primary, we must ramp up our efforts to garner enough support we need to defeat Cuellar.
