Roe v. Wade is hanging on by a thread.

Tomorrow marks 49 years since the U.S. Supreme Court first recognized the constitutional right to abortion in this landmark case. Yet right now, Roe is at greater risk than ever before, and it’s possible this anniversary could be the last.

As we recognize this anniversary, we’re actively awaiting a decision from the Supreme Court which could determine the future of abortion access in the United States. The state of Mississippi has asked the Court repeatedly and explicitly to overturn Roe in our case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

This is the most consequential abortion rights case to go before the Court in decades, and the impacts will be felt for generations. If Roe is gutted, half the states in the U.S. could ban abortion IMMEDIATELY.
