I need to tell you what happened in D.C. two nights ago.

Kevin McCarthy held a fundraiser at the Trump Hotel where he raised $9.5 million.

Each person who attended was asked to contribute $100,000 each.

The poverty rate in Kern County — which makes up a majority of California’s 23rd District — is 12% higher than the national average.

Do you think most people in our district have $100,000 to spend on a campaign contribution? I don’t think so.

You’ll never catch me asking for $100,000. We have something better than the over fifty corporate PACs and wealthy donors who were at that fundraiser: you.

All I’m asking is for you to chip in just 0.01% of $100,000 — $10 to be exact — and help us keep building this people-powered campaign to defeat Kevin McCarthy, flip this seat, and elect someone who actually wants to work for the people of the Central Valley.
