To say that I’m disappointed is an understatement.

Senate Republicans have shown us exactly where they stand. Rather than siding with the men and women who fought and bled for our right to vote, they will go on record supporting voter suppression.

Here’s the hard truth: It’s clear that Republicans are using voter suppression as a strategy to increase their own power at the expense of our democracy.

We can’t sit on the sidelines while the GOP chips away at the foundation of our democracy. I’m calling on you to stand with me against voter suppression by supporting my campaign for Congress. Can I count on you to chip in $10 to help me continue the fight for voting rights?

This is bigger than political ideology. Our democracy is in danger.

In times like this, when we have the chance to stand on the right side of history, it is critical that we stand firm.

We can be frustrated, scared, and angry. But we cannot give up.
