In case you missed it, the House took a giant step forward in the fight to protect voting rights for every American by passing the John Robert Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act.

Now, the bill will head to the Senate where it’s expected that Republicans will block it using the filibuster. The radical right has decided that the only way they can consistently win elections is to engage in massive voter suppression. 

So today we need your help to send a message to Senate Republicans. Help us spread the word that we’re not going backward, we’re only going to go forward and the radical right better back off of us.

The right to vote is sacred and central to the integrity of our democracy. There are people who died and shed blood to make sure that everyone in America can vote.

That’s why we must honor their legacy and not rest until we have defeated this attack on voting rights and ensured everyone can safely exercise their voice in this democracy.
