John, this is a longer email. I’m about to explain what’s at stake in this critical race. I’d really appreciate it if you would read the whole thing -- but if you’re short on time, could you chip in $15 before you log off? I need 1,016 gifts before midnight to keep my campaign fully funded, DEFEAT Congressman Don Bacon, and make sure working class folks are put first in Washington. >>
John, I need you to understand what’s at stake if we lose this election.
My Republican opponent, Congressman Don Bacon, will continue to leave working-class people in the dust:
- He voted to cut taxes for billionaires and corporations.
- He voted against COVID relief when our country needed it most.
- And he started this race with a warchest of over $800,000 from his special interest friends.
Bottom line: I’m running one of the most competitive races in the country, and I can’t afford to miss a single fundraising goal.
But I don’t come from money. That’s why I depend on grassroots supporters like you to chip in so I can have a fighting chance in this critical race. So I’m personally asking: Will you chip in $15 before midnight? >>
John, I believe we need more everyday people like me in Congress.
You shouldn’t have to be a billionaire to get elected and make your voice heard.
But the truth is: Running for office is incredibly expensive.
To reach critical voters, I have to run ads, rally volunteers, send mail, and more -- and I have to get to work now.
But these critical tools to winning a campaign come with a hefty price tag.
That’s why I’m asking for $15 before midnight. I know I can defeat my Republican opponent, but I can’t do it alone. We need new leadership and we need it now. So will you chip in $15 before midnight to keep my campaign fully funded, DEFEAT Congressman Don Bacon, and make sure working class folks are put first in Washington? >>
Every dollar you chip in will be put towards flipping this seat for Democrats, so I’m humbly asking: John, will you chip in your first $10 now to reach my goal?
Thank you so much,
Tony
