Our sacred right to vote is enshrined in our Constitution – a document every member of Congress took an oath to protect.

But this week, every single Republican Senator betrayed that oath by refusing to support the Freedom to Vote Act.

Any veteran or member of a military family will understand, those of us who served put our lives on the line for this country and democracy we hold so dear, and this failure is an insult to us and those who died fighting alongside us.

That’s why VoteVets is working hard to defeat Republicans in the Senate and instead elect progressive veterans we can trust to defend our sacred right to vote.
