John,

Do you know why corporations never have to pay their fair share?

It’s because they bankroll members of Congress instead, including Joni Ernst, who has received millions in campaign contributions from corporate PACs and lobbyists. But Democrats aren’t immune—my primary opponent, Theresa Greenfield, has accepted tens of thousands of dollars from lobbyists, including lobbyists for big pharma, the healthcare industry, and big tobacco.

Meanwhile, the interests of everyday Americans are rarely represented in Congress because people like us can’t afford to give large sums of money to politicians. Representation shouldn’t come with a price tag.

That’s why our campaign doesn’t take any corporate PAC or corporate lobbyist money and why we’re putting in the hard work every single day.

We consider our next weekend to be 207 days away—because there are 207 days until the primary election. We’re in this for the long haul, but to make it to June 2nd and beyond, we need your help.

Will you stand with us by contributing $50, $75, $100, or whatever you can spare today? ([link removed])

We can’t do this without your help, but together, we’ll finally have a Senator that money can’t buy.

Onward to justice for all!
—Kimberly
