Wow! Since my email on Monday, Dignity in Dying supporters like you have been signing our new petition in their thousands. We hit the 10,000 mark needed to trigger a Government response just hours after the email was sent and we’re now tantalisingly close to 25,000 signatures.
But we need 100,000 signatures to secure a debate in the House of Commons – and that’s where you come in. If everyone who has already signed this petition got just three more people to sign we could get there.

A debate in Parliament will ensure we keep the pressure on MPs. They need to know that this issue isn’t going away and cannot be kicked into the long grass.
