Registration closes soon for the USCCB’s Catholic Social Ministry Gathering, sponsored by Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA), and to be held virtually from January 29 – February 1. CCUSA and CLINIC will offer a joint workshop, “Who is my Neighbor – Welcoming Newcomers from the Margins,” that will feature “mutually beneficial models of collaboration between parishes and immigration programs.”
Catholic Charities Community Services of Arizona has a new initiative, “Engaged Parish of the Month,” to honor impactful initiatives in parish social ministry.
