Also Wednesday, Rep. Kat Cammack (AZ-08) introduced the “Keep Kids in Schools Act of 2022,” the House companion to Senator Rubio’s bill in the U.S. Senate. The bill would prohibit around $164 billion in unspent COVID relief funds from going to elementary and secondary schools that do not offer in-person instruction. Thursday, Rep. President Biden sought to clarify his suggestion that a "minor incursion" by Russia into Ukraine may not draw the same response as a large invasion, telling reporters Thursday that "Russia will pay a heavy price" if any troops cross the border.

Gas prices are going back up, but the Biden administration's solution, rather than focusing on the United States' energy independence, is to ask other countries to produce more oil or to stage a temporary fix by tapping into the nation's strategic reserve to "artificially lower prices," Rep.
