Hi there,
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself — I’m Jevin Hodge and I’m running to serve Arizona’s 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I’m the son of a single mother who made history as the first Black woman elected in the City of Tempe. Arizona gave my family and me a chance at a better life. But right now, too many Arizonans can’t say the same.
The last year has demonstrated how important it is for us to have real leadership working for all of us — and how devastating it is when we don’t.
My opponent, Congressman David Schweikert, is a career politician with a track record full of ethics scandals and controversy. We need new representation in this seat, someone who will take on the challenges Arizona families and businesses face — not look the other way.
So I’m running to replace him. I’m running because I believe voting rights are civil rights, and that we need to pass HR 1 to defend our freedoms. I’m running because I know health care is a human right — period. I’m running because we need leadership to tackle the climate crisis. I’m running because the 400 wealthiest Americans currently own more wealth than all Black households combined, and we need to change that. And I’m running because we need a renewed sense of leadership to ensure all of our kids have the opportunities they deserve.
We have so much left to do to ensure America’s promise of a better life for all. I hope you’ll join me in fighting for a better future for Arizona’s next generation.
More soon,
Jevin D. Hodge
