Dear John,

This Saturday marks the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. With the Supreme Court poised to gut or completely overturn Roe this summer and state restrictions on the rise, we will be facing an escalating crisis where abortion access is severely restricted or entirely banned in nearly half of our country.

And it’s not just the months to come that worry us, the future is now. The legal right to abortion guaranteed by Roe has already failed to ensure real access for millions of people, especially in communities who have been marginalized. We envision a future where abortion care is there for everyone who needs it, without barriers based on who you are, where you live, or how much you earn.

This week, a panel of abortion providers met with reporters to share how current restrictions harm patients and what policymakers must do to protect and expand abortion access now.

We must fight to protect our care for the long haul – and continue to confront and disrupt the systems and forces that deny people access to comprehensive health care.

Will you help us keep our physician advocacy strong to meet the challenges ahead with a gift today? [[link removed]]

Thank you for being with us at this critical moment.

With gratitude,
