Yesterday, billionaire Michael Bloomberg announced that he will be running
for President in the Democratic primary.

It’s not going to happen, but imagine for a second if Bloomberg won the
primary and went up against another billionaire: Donald Trump. The result
would be millions of working people staying home and feeling like our
democracy is a playground for the ultra-rich.

Our country doesn’t need another out-of-touch billionaire running for
President. The ultra-wealthy and the billionaire class have already caused
too many of the crises that we are currently facing. Thousands of people
are dying because of pollution, natural disasters, and lack of health
insurance.

We need to elect more diverse, working-class leaders to join the Squad in
Congress and fight for Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and ending
mass incarceration and deportation.

Electing a slate of diverse, working-class champions is exactly what our
organization is working to do each and every day. With your support we can
continue to create the movement that will push our country forward.

But to be completely transparent with you, we need an increase in monthly
donations that we can count on to fund our work to undo the harm that
plutocrats and establishment politicians have wrought for decades.

Our goal is to hit 7,500 monthly donations by the end of the quarter. As
we plan for some tough primaries in New York, Ohio, and Texas it’s so
important that we have donors we can count on to sustain our work for the
long haul.

To show our appreciation to our most committed supporters, we’re going to
be sending out a limited edition, “I am a Justice Democrat” sticker to
each person who signs up to make a monthly contribution.
