Hello,
It's been exactly one full year since President Biden put our Nation on a new path forward with the help of a Democratic House and Senate.
On day one, Democrats immediately got to work to pass legislation to put more than 200 million shots in arms, reopen 99% of schools, cut child poverty in half, deliver critical relief to small businesses, and provide $1 trillion in infrastructure funding to rebuild our crumbling roads and bridges.
Even with all that success, this last year hasn't been an easy one. Our Nation continues to fight a global pandemic. Republican legislatures across the country are passing laws to severely restrict your right to vote. And not a single Senate Republican will cross the aisle to support Democratic legislation that would lower costs for working families and improve the lives of every American.
However, we can't and we won't give up hope. The stakes for the American people are too high. We have to maintain our commitment to fighting for our families, our values, and our future. And if we stick together, I know that we can win.
As we begin the second full year of the Biden administration, we need to keep looking forward. There is so much work left to be done, and we need to defend and expand our Democratic majorities in the Senate and the House this November so we can continue our progress.
