Happy New Year. We hope 2022 will be a year full of rejuvenation for you and your family. Let me tell you how we’re starting off the new year. The Sundance Film Festival started today and this year will be the seventh time MPAC’s Hollywood Bureau has been present at the festival. We’re looking forward to another year of promoting inclusion and representation at the Muslim House at Sundance.
We’re proud to announce that our first virtual Muslim House panel is in partnership with Black Women Animate. Join our free panel discussion on Thursday, January 27th at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET. Tune in for a conversation exploring how we harness intersectionality and use it as a superpower to unite us around bolder and culture-shifting storytelling.
Our second virtual Muslim House panel will be held in partnership with the Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) on Sunday, January 30th at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET. We’re excited to partner with ISF for a discussion on how Muslim creative communities can build out and sustain film movements.
