Friend --
As the Supreme Court hears the Trump
Administration's challenge to the constitutionality of the Deferred
Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, CLUE and its allies are
mobilizing to support DACA recipients, their families, and friends,
while demonstrating to decision-makers the depth of love for our
immigrant sisters and brothers in our communities.
So much is at stake for the hundreds of thousands of DACA
recipients in this country. This weekend, please keep them in your
prayers and lift them up in your place of worship.
And please join CLUE at one of the following events. Flyers are
below.
- DACA Prayer Vigil, Monday, November 11, at 5:30 pm at St. Luke's
Episcopal Church
- National Walkouts for DACA, Tuesday, November 12, at 10:00 am at
the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse
- Rise for DACA, Tuesday, November 12, from 3:00 – 8:00 pm at Levitt
Pavilion in MacArthur Park
With gratitude,
