As evidence continues to reveal the extent to which Trump and his Republican allies are willing to go to secure reelection in 2020, it's no wonder that they have refused to hold a vote on election security bills in the senate. The House has passed multiple bills that would address the security flaws in our elections, but "Moscow Mitch" McConnell is refusing to bring them to a vote in the senate – adding to his growing graveyard of legislation passed by the House.
To put pressure on Republicans for for their inaction on election security, activists across the country are holding a national day of action on November 13 to demand that senators pass $600 million in election security funding ahead of the 2020 elections.
We are at a pivotal moment for the security of our elections, and we have faced unprecedented attacks on our democracy – attacks that senate Republicans would rather ignore than defend our country from.
We can't allow that to happen and we need to speak out against it. Our democracy depends on the public's faith in our elections. Let's work together to restore integrity in our democracy.
