Just when we thought the Georgia GOP could not possibly get more extreme and oppressive with their anti-voting laws, we get this news.

Former Senator and candidate for governor David Perdue promised that he would create a “police force” to investigate “election fraud” after every election.

We all know what he is really doing. He is stoking the flames of Donald Trump’s extremist base to get votes and win them over before the Republican primary for governor. And at the cost of blatantly threatening voters who don’t agree with him and his debunked theories of “election fraud.”

This comes less than 24-hours after the U.S. Senate struck down necessary changes to the filibuster to pass comprehensive voting rights, once again destroying our chances at enshrining voter protections into law.

We want to send a message to the Georgia GOP loud and clear that we do not support an elections police unit and we need your help. Sign our letter to Perdue and Georgia Republicans: we do not support voter intimidation and “election police” >>>
