This month marks the 49th anniversary of
Roe v. Wade – the landmark Supreme Court decision which guaranteed the right to choose and ensured the reproductive rights of women are protected by law.
But here's the thing: The
Roe decision was never intended to be the ceiling,
because it's the floor. We shouldn't be rolling
back on abortion rights, but progressing
forward.
There's no reason that nearly every U.S. county should be without an abortion clinic. There's no reason why countless state legislatures should be introducing (and passing) abortion bans across the country.
And there's DAMN sure no reason why Black women and families should be disproportionately denied resources, services, and information needed to make personal decisions regarding reproductive health.
The worst part? The conservative majority Supreme Court is allowing this to happen. Sign the petition and demand President Biden #ExpandTheCourt immediately so we can protect abortion indefinitely >>

When abortion access is restricted, and in this case, a chance of being outlawed nationwide – guess what happens?
The number of unsafe, at-home abortions increases.
So much for a court that's supposed to protect and defend democracy 🙄🙄🙄
If one thing's clear, it's that white supremacy has a hold on the Supreme Court – threatening the health and wellbeing of Black women everywhere.
The fate of reproductive health lies in the hands of the current Supreme Court – which is why we need to #ExpandTheCourt immediately. Sign the petition and demand President Biden take a stance to protect abortion and expand the court immediately.
