Jessica Cisneros is an activist, an advocate, and a community builder who has spent her life fighting for the people of South Texas.
Earlier this month, I was proud to endorse her campaign, because the residents of Texas’ 28th District deserve a Congressperson who puts their interests first.
We have a great chance to send Jessica to Congress, but it’s going to take all of us.
Republicans and corporate special interests are constantly attacking our progressive movement, spending millions of dollars so they can continue to influence our politics.
It’s time to put the power back in the hands of the people by electing more bold, progressive leaders who will work to deliver for all of us.
Jessica is the right person for the job — but right now she’s going up against an opponent with over $2 million in his campaign bank account, and needs a major surge in grassroots fundraising in these final weeks.
If enough people step up, we can send Jessica to the House, where I know she’ll be a powerful partner in the fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, reproductive justice, and more.
