I have been in close contact with our field staff members in Ethiopia — and the situation is dire.


A vast number of families have been forced from their homes. More than 5 million people do not have enough to eat. Ethiopia is one of 43 nations where people are experiencing famine knocking on their door every day.


Many of those who have fled their homes are now living in makeshift camps outside the capital city. Families are struggling to access the food and other basic items they need just to survive.


Our in-country team members are mobilized to help as many people as possible. All the team needs is the supplies for distribution. Unto is uniquely positioned to serve Ethiopians at a time when lives are in the balance.
