My name is Steve Sisolak. I’m a Democratic Governor running for reelection to keep Battleground Nevada blue. I want to tell you a little bit about my values and why I’m in this fight, but first, will you chip in $10 and then read my story below?

Growing up, my dad would tell me: “you need to leave your community a little better than you found it.”

He was a GM line worker, and he worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and three children. Watching his commitment to caring for our family taught me the value of hard work and grit.

Those values pushed me to work my way through college, build my own business from scratch, and put down roots in Las Vegas where I raised my two girls as a single dad.

Those values also served as the foundation of my campaign when I ran for Governor in 2018.

I took that determination and grit and focused on what Nevadans are relying on their leaders to do – building an economy that supports working families, giving frontline workers the recognition and protection they deserve, and investing in Nevada’s public schools while uplifting our hardworking educators.

Looking back, there’s no doubt that we’ve made huge strides in creating a stronger, healthier, and more equitable Nevada. But the work isn’t done yet.

Leaving Nevada better than we found it will take bringing thousands of people together to join the fight to keep Nevada moving forward.
