Friend,
As a candidate, Joe Biden committed to taking 46 executive actions on climate. Once he took office, we committed to holding him accountable.
So one year later, we ran the numbers. We just published a new memo detailing the progress Biden has made—and where he's fallen short. We'll give you a summary below, but first, we need to ask: Will you share our findings with your friends and family right now?
Here's the bottom line: Biden has made some meaningful progress, but there's more work to be done.
Crucially, his executive efforts must be paired with legislative action. Biden needs to take more ambitious executive action on his own, but he must also secure passage of the climate investments in the Build Back Better Act. He simply can't meet his climate goals on his own.
We need Biden to fulfill his commitment to all of us by using the full power of his office to fight climate change.
It starts by getting as many eyes on our report as possible—so please share it with your friends and family on Twitter and Facebook, or forward this email to a friend!
Thank you for your commitment to climate accountability,
Lena Moffitt
