Hi Friend,

One year ago today, President Biden and Vice President Harris stood on the Capitol steps and took the oath of office.

They entered office at one of the most difficult moments in our country’s history. We faced a global pandemic, an economic meltdown, and a violent insurrection.

Despite these challenges, they guaranteed they would deliver on their promises to working families, vaccinate millions of Americans, and infuse our nation’s infrastructure with historic investments. In their first year in office, that’s what they’ve done.

And if we’re going to keep making progress at every level of government, we need you standing with us today.

When President Biden took office, he was tasked with rolling out a historic vaccination program to protect our communities from COVID-19:

- In the past year, 200 million Americans have been fully vaccinated, including 16.8 million Texans -- almost 75% of all American adults.

As our country faced record unemployment, with working families struggling to make ends meet, President Biden:

- Added 6.4 million jobs to our economy, including more than 300,000 jobs in Texas.
- Passed the American Rescue Plan, giving direct payments to 164 million Americans and nearly 14 million Texans.

That’s more jobs created in one year than any president ever on record. A year ago, we were facing one of the greatest economic crises in our history, but today, economic growth is the strongest in two generations.

One of the most exciting victories from President Biden’s first year is the passage of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law:

- A historic investment to restore our country’s roads, bridges, pipes, ports, and broadband access, with $35 billion coming to Texas.

This means easier commutes for working folks, more opportunities to do business and stay connected, and protecting our communities from extreme weather events like last year’s winter storm.

Friend, this is what it looks like to have strong, people-first, Democratic leadership -- and this is why we can’t stop working to elect more Democrats to all levels of leadership. Can we count on you to chip in $7 to power our fight to elect more leaders who will put us first?
