A year ago today, Joe Biden was inaugurated as the 46th President of the
United States. After a tumultuous 4 years under Donald Trump, we were also
able to secure a Democratic majority in the House and Senate.

We may not
have a chance like this again to pass vital progressive legislation to
keep our families safe, healthy, and thriving. We must continue to hold
the Biden Administration accountable for the promises of their campaign
including passing comprehensive climate legislation, ensuring health care
for all, and providing extensive COVID-19 relief for our communities.

Ro is running for re-election because he knows this is a critical time in
the history of our democracy, and we can’t afford to lose a single leader
who will unapologetically push for policies that will only benefit the

This week, the Biden Administration announced they will send free COVID-19
tests to every home in the United States, and make free K95 masks readily
available at local pharmacies and health centers. This is a wonderful push
to fight back against the latest surge in the pandemic, but we must do
more.
